OVERVIEW
When you're building a brand for crypto, the easy move is to lean fully technical - dark UI, complex terminology, crypto-native signaling. But OFFGRID's product promise was simplification, so the brand needed to reflect that.
OFFGRID is an offchain exchange for onchain assets, built to make blockchain trading faster, simpler, and more secure. I came in pre-launch to develop the complete brand identity and digital presence from scratch, with one clear goal: generate early interest and capture waitlist sign-ups.
I anchored the brand around "The Simple Way Out" - direct positioning that acknowledges crypto's complexity while offering an alternative. The visual system balances sophistication with accessibility: dark aesthetics, soft lavender accents, clean typography. Technical credibility without the usual crypto coldness.
I built comprehensive brand guidelines, designed and developed the landing page in Framer, and created a social content system for community engagement. The website translates product features (self-custody, all-chain trading, privacy) into clear value propositions, with conversion-focused CTAs throughout.
The result: a brand that feels both credible and approachable - ready to convert skeptics into early adopters.
